About Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn Tonita is a lawyer who was called to the bar and signed the rolls in May 2026. Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, she has deep roots in the local community and a strong commitment to serving and advocating for others. Drawing on her legal education and connection to Saskatchewan, Kaitlyn provides thoughtful, client-focused legal services.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Kaitlyn earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina. Her work in social services gave her firsthand insight into the systemic challenges faced by individuals and families, which ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in law as a means of driving meaningful change.
Kaitlyn went on to complete her Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, she developed a keen interest in civil litigation, family law, and criminal defence. She was actively involved in the student community, participating in Law Games and continuing her long-standing passion for competitive sports.
Kaitlyn is dedicated to providing accessible, compassionate, and client-centered legal support. She brings a thoughtful and diligent approach to her work, ensuring that every client feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their legal journey.
