About Riley

Riley Potter is a family lawyer who joined Nychuk & Company in 2013. He has extensive experience in handling complex family law matters including divorce, separation, property division, parenting, support and adoption. He also practices in the areas of real estate, wills and estates.

 

Riley is committed to providing his clients with practical and compassionate legal advice. He strives to resolve disputes in a respectful and cooperative manner using a collaborative approach to resolve matters outside of court whenever possible. Riley also has strong advocacy skills and has appeared before all levels of court in Saskatchewan.

 

Riley obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Regina in 2009 and his Juris Doctor degree with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012. He was a member of the 2012 University of Saskatchewan Western Moot Team, which won the national trial advocacy competition.

 

Riley grew up on a family farm east of Regina and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also likes playing hockey, reading and public speaking. He is a former president of the Wascana Toastmasters Club.

 

Riley is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association and the Collaborative Professionals of Saskatchewan Inc. He looks forward to assisting you with your legal needs.
