Cassan joined Nychuk & Company as a summer student in 2021. After completing law school in 2022, she articled to Barry Nychuk, and signed the roles in May of 2023.

Cassan practices primarily practices criminal defence and has experience drafting complex pre-trial applications, conducting provincial court trials and assisting in Court of King’s Bench trials. Cassan has assisted in defending against a number of criminal offences including, assault, domestic assault, sexual assault, drug related offences and firearms offences.

Cassan was born and raised in Brandon Manitoba and serves clients across southwestern Manitoba and Southeastern Saskatchewan.
