Barry P. Nychuk

Barry P. Nychuk (retired) is a founding partner of Nychuk & Company, a law firm that provides legal services in various areas of law, including family, criminal, real estate, agricultural, commercial, and corporate law. Barry practiced law for over 30 years and appeared before all levels of court in Saskatchewan and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Barry’s main area of practice was criminal law, where he successfully defended clients charged with a wide range of offences, from impaired driving to murder. Barry was known for his thorough preparation, persuasive advocacy, and strategic thinking. He was also involved in several high-profile cases that received national media attention.
Barry practiced civil litigation and real estate law, where he represented clients in disputes involving contracts, negligence, property, estates, and other matters. Barry contributed extensive knowledge of the legal issues affecting farmers and rural communities and advised and represented many clients in agricultural law matters.
Barry, who is now retired from the practice of law, was a respected member of the legal profession and the community. He lectured on the Canadian legal process at the University of Regina and conducted seminars for various organizations, such as the Public Legal Education Association, Commercial Investment Seminars, and Farm Advocacy Groups. He was a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association.
